Elastic insude waist band a problem

Jeans were a good fit, but the wide band of elastic inside the waist is a problem. I returned jeans.

Great fit love the elastic waistband

I am 5'2" I'm apple shaped and have a 44 inch waist with narrow hips and thighs. Hard to fit. Because I barely have a waist, the elastic waistband on these is fantastic, exactly what I need! I wear my shirts out to cover my belly but if you tuck in... the waist looks like just a normal one. Usually I wear a 16 but 14P is the right size for me in these. I also have the high waist version in this brand in 16P and they get baggy after a while so that's why I sized down on these. I feel like this rise and length is also better for me. I washed them cool water and low heat and there didn't appear to be any noticeable shrinkage. They are only 54% cotton so that helps. I actually like jeans with some polyester. I find these to be soft and a good weight. The length is perfect for me. If I'm barefoot the back is just above the floor. They have 6 usable pockets and belt loops. I'm a senior and have the Indigo wash which is a nice medium/dark blue. No distressing so I feel suitable for my age.

Democracy Petite Absolution Straight-Leg Jeans

These are just not my style of jeans. Lots of stretch which is fine, but remind me that they are for older women. No Jean seams on sides like you might find on other jeans line Levi's etc.

Great jeans, nice tummy support.

Great fit, very comfortable and great stretch with a nice thick waistband offering some tummy control. I am in between sizes and have been struggling to find pants that fit my stomach with out swallowing my legs. These are perfect. I am 5’2 and selected the petite length.
