I was disappointed to discover that the box only contains one set. I apparently misread the item and assumed it was for a 4 person setting. Way too expensive for just one set.

Made in England, wow!

She got attracted to these at first sight while visiting the website. Then she had second thoughts because she already has too much collection of china dinnerware settings. She was thinking of returning them until she fell in love with them when they arrived--what a beautiful classic combination of colors! And she realized that they were made in England. Therefore, we won't return them anymore.

Simply Beautiful ...

Colors are gorgeous and I love the simple lines of this set. Coffee cups are only 8 ounces but I can get used to that. Well made and durable. I'm very pleased.

Love these dishes

While shopping with my sister, she was telling me about what a great brand Denby is; I had never heard of Denby before. After listening to her tell me about them, I ordered them and they are just beautiful. After I ordered them, my sister and mother also ordered them.

Love my dishes

These dishes are so well made and sturdy but also beautiful! I'm so glad I decided to invest in quality dinnerware! I will enjoy them daily and proudly serve my guests with them too!

Denby - wonderfully happy

I purchased 10 place settings of Denby's Fire Sage, 2 serving bowls and 1 platter of Fire Chile. They are of outstanding quality. They can go from freezer to oven, are dishwasher, and microwave safe. I got them for my daughter, but wish I had gotten them for myself. The colors are very pretty and go very nicely with a variety of colors of mats or tablecloths. The dishes are sturdy - not like they will chip easily. The bottoms are smooth and won't scratch a table top. When warmed, the dishes do not get excessively hot, but they help the contents retain the heat. I would absolutely recommend these dishes, or for that matter, any Denby pattern dishes to anyone looking for a new set of dishes. I ordered them online to be shipped directly to her in another state. They were delivered to her door and no heavy lugging of dishes from store to car to home. This was a great experience (as usual) with Macy's.
