Scratched again!
My Demby Dinnerware (Fire Chile) is beautiful and durable looking. However I keep reordering pieces because so many have very obvious scratches! My dishes were very nicely packed, foam and bubble wrap, yet many pieces are damaged due to pitting and scratches in the glaze. I say the blame is not in Macy's packaging but Denby...These look like factory seconds! It's really difficult to keep returning and ordering again until I have flawless dishes. At this point I'm settling for small scratches but wonder how well these dishes will hold up. These are very expensive to come damaged. I just want a nice new looking set! I will keep trying.

These 8 pasta bowls completed my entire Denby Fire collection. 3 of the 8 bowls were of a much lighter color than the others. I returned them to the store and they ordered me 3 more. They arrived in about 4 day. They are great in the dishwasher, but can get really hot in the microwave. I've had my set of Denby Dinner plates, saucers and soup bowls for about a year now and they have not chipped. Very durable. I just love it!

We opted to order these for our registry upon realizing how small the Denby cereal/soup bowl was (after seeing it in-store). We love the bowls - they look great and are the perfect size for pasta - but had to immediately send two of them back due to scratches on the inside bottom. These scratches were pretty visible and could be felt with the tip of a finger. The two replacement bowls we received also had some minor scratches, but not nearly as bad as the first two and we felt we could live with them. We highly recommend them, but make sure to inspect yours carefully and don't hesitate to send it back for a replacement if necessary.

I've owned this dinnerware for nearly two years and it still looks like new. I don't plan on EVER buying another set of dishes. This purchase was just adding on to what we already had.
