Christmas in the City - American Girl Place

I am Happy with my Dept 56 American Girl Place collector piece. Only 1 disappointment …for the Price, I think a Closer INSPECTION, BEFORE SHIPPING, would be Appreciated … as 2 of the WINDOWS were LOOSE when I opened my package. I was So Excited, to open my collector piece; and Sad when I immediately saw Two Windows UN-attached to the AG Place Store. They are Not Broken & I easily attached them; but felt, at this Price Point, and being my 1st DEPT 56 piece … it should have been PERFECT, for my 1st Impression! I’m just giving my Honest 1st impression … and Overall, I am VERY HAPPY with my piece!

Love Department 56

I’m a big Department 56 collector so anytime I can find pieces to add to my village. I am a happy person! I was able to get this piece on the final Christmas sale because I felt the full price was a bit too high for this piece as it is small But with all of the Department 56 in his handcrafted well and a beautiful addition

Santa's Village has new candy house

What would Christmas be without candy? The candy house was the perfect selection to add this year to our village. Ordering was simple and arrival was within 3 days. Expertly packed to allow for the travel to our house, the box arrive in perfect condition. Each candy house detail expertly cuddled in the box to prevent breakage. Looking at the details of the Santa's Candy house was mesmerizing to the children waiting for the new addition. The house was perfectly placed in the village and the children from the village began arriving almost immediately. The candy house was filled with all the candies that remind you of Christmas. The candy house was the third house placed in the village and lends a perfect scene from any number of tales or stories. No more traveling to the next village to buy Christmas as our village now has a candy house for the children to visit.
