Poor customer service, not a bad product

Ordered a different item online. Cancelled at the last minute. Given 25 percent off to use online or in store as consolation. Tried to use in store and told they couldn’t accept the code in store. Bought full price item in store regardless. Reached out to Macy’s. Haven’t received response. These are expensive. I want my 25% back.

Does NOT Work!

Department 56 used to be known for their craftsmanship and quality but not anymore. This is my first and last new dept 56 purchase. Purchased the NLCV light up house for my village collection and immediately upon unboxing and using it does not even work. Husband even tried to check the wiring to ensure it was all in place and it is but nothing works at all- only a one time flicker and nothing since. It’s also lighter than they used to be as well. Very disappointing because we were so excited to add this pop culture piece to our set. Sadly return window closed very quickly after receipt so we didn’t get an opportunity to even return it.

Lights didn’t work

House looked great, was excited until we plugged it in and it didn’t work, didn’t light up. Since Macy’s didn’t have any more, called Dept56 and was able to send it in for warranty, but had to pay to ship it to them.
