beautiful dress but problem with sizing

I'm pretty familiar with this brand so ordered it in size Medium which I usually buy when I shop directly at Desigual website (their sizes typically are on a smaller side). The dress I received was in size Large, The invoice stated that it was Large . First I thought that it was just a mistake, so I returned it and re-ordered in size Medium again. But the second dress once again came in size Large, and now I suspect it is not by mistake. It appears that the vendor just assumes to send you a larger size (from what you ordered) if you order through Macy's website. Once again I have to return this dress to Macy's. Since I do like this dress a lot, I just re-ordered again, but this time in size Small, hoping that they will finally send me the right size. There has to be a better system with sizing for this brand as opposed to just assuming and sending customers larger sizes that were not ordered.
