Wrong dress sent

This is a nice quality dress, but not what I ordered. It was supposed to be short but it’s long which means I can’t wear it to the event I bought it for.

Previous review said it came with a booklet on how to wear the shrug. I was looking forward to it but there was nothing but the dress.

Elegant, fits well, and I could wear it again!

I sized up (normally wear a 12 to 14) and bought an XL. It is slightly large, but it is very flattering and comfortable. I immediately ordered ANOTHER color in a L. The dress arrives packaged in a bag - folded for travel - and I was skeptical. Once I put it on, it was wrinkle-free, it draped beautifully and looked good from all angles. It did NOT dig in across the top, as many strapless dresses do. The shrug is very easy to style, and a little instructional book comes with the dress. I am attending a wedding as the (step) mother of the groom in July and have tried so, so many dresses - shipping them back to the various retailers. This is a winner. I don't look like a bridesmaid. I could dress this up or dress it down. And the price! A fraction of some of the other dresses I tried.

Unflattering Upper Portion

The upper portion of this dress is incredible loose and unflattering. The pictures are almost misleading in the sense that it looks like the upper portion is reinforced with some material to make it stay straight and tight. I would need to size down to get a proper fit, but I'm still fairly certain the outcome would be the same.
