Convinced these were made for women

I've worn what I knew as regular dickies shorts for yrs. I guess now they're called loose fit. I ordered a pair of these "regular flex fit" for work and they're downright irritating. The zipper is about 4" long so ya basically have to drop your shorts to take a leak. It's significantly shorter than all my other dickies shorts. This pair also lacks any room in that area for comfortable movement or sitting. Would probably work for a girl though.
