I strolled into Macy’s looking decidedly not like someone who belonged in a high-end mall—think “chic wanderer meets laundry day.” Despite my appearance, Matthew and Youseff treated me with the kind of respect usually reserved for VIP shoppers with platinum cards and blowouts. My mission was simple but high-pressure: find a white dress shirt for my man. Boring, right? But I didn’t want to fail my assignment. Thankfully, these two style saviors stepped in and helped me explore options that had a little more personality. With their expert guidance, we landed on a light blue shirt that would look incredible with his dark blue suit—classy, confident, and just enough pizzazz to make me look like I knew what I was doing. But wait, there’s more. They didn’t stop at shirts—no, these gentlemen took me on a scent safari through the men’s fragrance section. I told them I wanted something YSL-adjacent, and they nailed it on the very first try. (Of course, I had to sniff a few more just to be sure, but the first one was the one.) They even helped me pre-order it so I could score a discount when the sale kicked in. Legends. Matthew and Youseff were professional, patient, and genuinely kind. They made me feel like I belonged there—even when my outfit said otherwise. If every shopping trip were like this, I’d probably be broke but incredibly well-dressed.
