This coin counter works great. It’s easy to use and accepts coins easily. It accurately reads what is being put inside. I just wish the container was a little more durable feeling. It feels flimsy and feels like it may not stand up to a fall

Coin counting jar
I love this coin counting jar. I get change every day at work and I come home and put it in my jar and watch it count my money. It’s fun for the kids too!

Great size!
This sharper image counting bank is a nice tool for the kids to learn how to count money. It also gets them excited about saving. Whenever they find a coin they add it to the bank. It's a pretty decent size too so I'm sure they will be at it for a while.

Really fun and accurate
Thanks to Sharper Image I got to try this digital bank out in exchange for my true and honest opinion. I had doubts that it would be accurate thinking I could trick the counter into thinking some coins went in when they did not, however I failed! It is spot on accurate and did not let me manipulate it in any way. Now, if you decide that you want to remove some money from this bank, or even add change without using the slot, you can adjust the counter to reflect that amount. The instructions are very easy to follow. Upon opening this bank, I did need to place 2 triple A batteries in the lid and from there is was easy counting. I have nothing negative to say about this item. I do recommend it as my son and I are enjoying setting a goal and watching this counter go up. It would make a really nice gift. 5 stars!

Super easy to use
My daughter loves this counting jar. She is learning how to count money at school now, so she gets super excited to count her coins. It is super easy to use. The only little issue we had was that it was somewhat a little hard to put coins in at first, so if she didn’t get it in, it counted for a smaller coin. But overall, we love it! Would purchase again!

Encourages the family to save money!
This coin counting jar is pretty cool and fun. It encourages the entire family to actively save money because they get to add the coins to the jar. It’s smaller than I expected it to be but it will definitely take us some time to fill it up. I like that there’s buttons to remove or add money manually inserting of inserting if needed. The only thing I dislike is that it is kind of hard to push the coins into the slot. There’s a little bit of resistance.

Plastic, not glass
I was worried that this would be glass and could easily break when my preschooler used it. I was happy to see it was a more durable plastic. I like that it is easy to use but I will say, sometimes the coin counter doesn’t go up accurately. It is definitely due to user error or my part but if a kid is using it, be prepared to have to fish out coins and try it again. I do wonder how long the battery will last since there is no power saver or way to shut it off (only restart from 0). Fun gift for kids learning to count money.
