Fun concept, but one egg was empty

I bought two of the Giant Dinosaur Egg Excavation Kits for my daughter for Christmas, and she was so excited to dig into them. The concept is great—messy, hands‑on, and perfect for kids who love dinosaurs and surprises. One of the eggs worked exactly as expected and she had a blast uncovering the little dinosaurs inside. Unfortunately, the second egg was completely empty. She spent a long time digging through it, and we eventually realized there were no dinosaurs inside at all. It was disappointing, especially since these were meant to be a special Christmas surprise. Overall, the kit is fun when it works, but the inconsistency was frustrating. I’d recommend it with caution—just be prepared in case you get a dud.

No Dinosaurs found!

This would have been great if either of the two I purchased contained any dinosaurs! Did anyone else have this problem? According to customer care at the number on the box mine was one in a million but that can't be true since I had two!

Coo, but messy

I think I would have enjoyed this myself. My son did, but wasn't patient enough to do the "excavation." He ended up banging the egg on the floor to break down the egg faster. It is messy. Plan on having your child do the excavation outside, have extra clothes ready, or make them take a bath right after. My son was covered in plaster dust afterwards and it was all over the floor.
