Messy very dusty goggles and mask would help

It is hard and very messy use a towel or blanket to hold dust.Needed a hammer wooden to break up block. Plastic chisel did not do much. Disappointed included poster had nothing to do with rocks and no identification guie. Grandaughter said she enjoyed it.

Fun

My kids loved doing this gem excavation. My daughter had the most fun she loves collecting rocks, gems, crystals ect. She said this was the best thing ever having to actually dig up a pretty gem. It was a little messy but we put it in a blanket so clean up was easy.

So much fun!

My 7 year old daughter is a complete rock hound like me and this was something we enjoyed doing together. I mean, who doesn't like digging up treasures? The tools are easy to use and it was a lot of fun. Thank you for giving us something we could both enjoy! We received this free sample for our honest review.

Fun excavation set

This little toy treasure excavation kit is a fun activity for kids. The tools are simple and easy to use, however my son struggled a little to break up the rock. I highly recommend using this kit as the treasure in a buried treasure hunt--it adds an element of wonder to it and the kids love it! It had two shark teeth in it which were kind of hard to find because they were really small. He did have fun with it.
