cool but shapes cracked

This was a cool science kit. i wish it would have come with a beaker and a longer mixing stick. I waited two weeks as instructed for the crystals to form. When I removed them from the molds they cracked into pieces. I was still able to shine the light through the pieces. The light changes color and I showed my brother who has autism the light shining through the crystals and he was mesmerized.

Perfect set for a young scientist :)

My daughter was fascinated with my chemistry experiments and kept asking if she can do something on her own, so I got her this kit. It worked perfectly! The setup is easy, and we had pretty crystals in a couple of days. Love it!

New Project

I did this kit with my two teen boys. First off you really need to make sure you follow the directions to a t. You also need to be really patient because if you aren't you will not get the best crystals. Ours looked great! I will be getting another kit to make with my granddaughters. We really enjoyed doing it.

Fun, but not as big as the box shows

This was a fun experiment, but the crystals definitely do not grow as tall as they show on the box with the forms provided. The colors also didn't mix and permeate as well as they could have. The blue seemed to stick but not the red, and I wish we could have created other colors like green. The crystals didn't really form well in the star form. Also, the rocks included really didn't help with crystal formation.

This was such a terrific science kit. My 2 youngest kids absolutely had fun with this. It's hard to get them to take their nose out of a video game long enough to do anything.. but this definitely had their attention. They were so excited to see what they could grow

It's good for them to learn how to make different types of crystals with coloring to make a vamp it's so fun for them to make out of their imagination with the shape they get and the way that it looks

I recently got the Crystal Growing Kit for my kids and they haven't been able to get enough of it! They think is so cool and love that you can light up their crystals using the base! It was a lot of fun watching them become 'scientists'!
