Came in wrong color and about 10 inches too long

Pants came in a different color than what I ordered. Although label did say petite, they were about 10 inches too long. At 5'4, I would have to have 10 inches taken off. The fabric was very nice. Wish they came in the color I ordered and that they were truly petite. If you are tall, the petite will be fine.

DKNY Velour Drawstring-Waist Slacks

Looking for a petite-sized girrafe to give these pants to. I purchased the above and waited an inordinate amount of time for delivery. They arrived yesterday with NO receipt in the package. Size is correct and color great BUT unless they are altered I have to cut .about 12 inches from the legs. Too, drawstring was suspiciously untied and the waist looked stretched out. Any suggestions?
