The top is cute, but pretty much toddler sized. I ordered an XL based on the reviews. The arms were so tight, and it barely went over my chest. I’m 38C, apple-shape, 5’4. Most of my stomach showed and there was no way I could keep this. The brown color is more of matte style sequins, while the black is a glossy black sequin. **The matching skirt is cute, but also runs small. I did keep the skirt but also sized up. Normally I’m a Medium/Large, and kept the XL.
Stunning top
I have this top in black, which I wore for New Year's Eve and received so many compliments. The cut of the top and different sequin/pailette sizes make it unique and modern. I knew I wanted to try the copper version as well, but was a bit hesitant because I thought the lighter color might look a bit cheap and blingy (like a flashy gold, Vegas-y look). Was I pleasantly surprised upon receiving it! The sequins and pailettes on the copper version are not uber sparkly (like they are on the black); instead, they are a bit matte, giving the copper top a stunning and sophisticated glow. I should have known that DKNY would do it right. A few notes on fit for this top: I take a size 6/small 99% of the time (5'5", 130 lbs, 35" bust). This top runs a bit small, so the medium fits like a glove. Also, because it is cropped, I pair it with a thin, matching bodysuit camisole, so that if the top rides up I am covered, but not noticeably so. I can't wait to wear this exquisite copper top!
