Hidden Gem
This dress is does not sell itself when you first look at it. I loved the accent pieces at the wrist, but at first glance I thought the rest was too plain and metal bars at the wrist did not give the dress enough "extra" to make it anything more than a plain black dress. I tried it on and loved it. The cut was outstanding, accenting my body in all the right places. I am shorter with a fuller mid-aged body. If you are thinner, I would go down a size from what you normally purchase. I could feel the quality immediately in the material and workmanship. The zipper in the back is so well hidden, seams are flawless. The zipper pull is as understated and classy. I also appreciate that the zipper is very long, you could easily step into this dress if needed. I am 56 years old, I don't like to dress like an old lady, I love that DKNY is introducing items in their line that work for the slightly older crowd that are still stylish and trendy. I wore this dress for a wedding out of town, I packed it in my suitcase, it did not wrinkle. I plan to wear it with tights and boots for a more casual look. I recently stated a new job, this would have been the perfect interview dress.
Elegant Black Dress
This DKNY dress is a comfortable black dress that you could wear on any dressy occasion. The detail on the sleeves with the little gold "slide" buttons adds a beautiful updated touch. This dress is very comfortable and I actually could wear a size smaller than I normally run.
Simple But Elegant
After receiving my DKNY Long Sleeve Sheath Dress I was pretty please with it. It fit nicely and I really liked the detail on the sleeves. I wore this dress to a casual party and it worked out great. Because it is a little plain, I paired it with a fun necklace and earrings. The nice thing about this dress is that it is simple so, you can add accessories to it like a colorful pair of shoes or a larger statement necklace. The fit is right on. I am a size 8 and it fit me perfectly. I would definitely recommend this dress to someone who is looking for something simple but stylish!
Classic with a twist
This is a dress that can go to the office or just as easily to dinner The gold bars that pin the sleeves give it an edgy, modern vibe which elevates this dress beyond just your basic black sheath. It does run small-I'm a solid size 0 and the 2 fit me well. The material is a lovely mid weight crepe that hangs beautifully. It is form fitting. The design and construction are quite flattering and the garment is well made. The flared sleeves are more bracelet length so they don't get in the way and you can see your jewelry! This dress works easily in three seasons with the exception of the summer months. It's a good investment as you can't go wrong with a black dress that is unusual enough that you won't see yourself coming and going.
Beautiful Dress!
I really liked the design of the dress, thought it was cute and could be worn to a party or to work. It is so soft. Much softer material than I was expecting, The weight of the fabric makes it look and feel very expensive. I ordered my regular size and it fits perfectly.
Fantastic Dress!
This dress is really great! The detail on the sleeves adds just enough flair. I could definitely wear this to work to even to a cocktail party. The fit is so flattering! Love it. I think I will get a lot of use out of this one!
Almost the perfect little black dress
This dress is very elegant and stylish. The dress is not flattering for my shape because I have some belly fat but it would be beautiful for anyone with a different figure. I really like it a lot..I'll buy a girdle just so I can wear this dress because I like it so much!
Does No Justice on Hanger
This dress is a great last minute choice when going to an event that is somewhat conservative but fun. The dress looks much better on than on the hanger. It is form fitting but not a tight sexy look more like a curvy and classy look. The sleeves are pretty with the hardware, it makes the dress youthful.
