Too Difficult to Slip-On

Received Azer Slip-On Melrose today and will be returning them tomorrow. Had to struggle to get them on. Thought I would wear them to the airport, but these shoes are way too difficult to put on and take off. Love the color, but I don't know if the problem is with my feet or this model.I have a pair of DKNY-NONA, BLK, same size and they were very easy to get on and off.
