Heavy!! And narrow!!

I love the thick leather strap with the espadrille soles, but that's about it for these shoes. First negative is that these are sooooo heavy (which would be fine if they weren't sandals). Every time you take a step it feels like you are slapping the floor, stairs make it sound even worse. Second, the strap is really narrow. I would say I have pretty narrow feet already, but these were even on the narrower side for me. And because they are narrow and heavy, walking is painful. I thought I could break them in, but they are still hurting my feet. Sad that these didn't work out, they're so cute.

Perfect for summer

The DKNY Camillo Platform slides in Egg Nog has been the perfect addition to my summer wardrobe and has quickly become one of my go-to’s this summer. I absolutely love how versatile the style is, as it can easily be dress up or down depending on your preference. The espadrille platform adds a bit of flavor to the design without being too much. The thick band helps make the shoe feel secure without feeling uncomfortable. As a true size 8, I initially did find that it seemed to run a tad narrow. However, with continued wear, the leather band seemed to expand slightly to the shape of my foot and now the shoes feel super comfortable.

Oh, so comfortable!

This platform slide was given to my granddaughter for her birthday. She absolutely loves them! She says they are the most comfortable shoe she's ever had and hardly takes them off! The slide is a great shoe for summertime; casual and dressy at the same time.
