Slim fitting shoe

I typically wear a 5.5 - 6 sneaker so I got a size 6. Unfortunately when I put them on it was squeezing the life out of my feet. I'm a little upset because I truly had planned on wearing them to an Eagles event this weekend but they were extremely snug. They must be meant for people with really slim feet because I don't ever have to be a wide shoe but for these I would need a wide size. I'm afraid if I went a size up then my foot would be sliding from too much room in the length.

I love my Green & White DKNY's! I bought them for a sneakers ball! They are a perfect fit US size 9. They are very comfortable. The Sneakers Ball is in August but I didn't want to miss out on the shoe not being in stock. I'm excitedly waiting to wear them.
