Not as exactly as shown

This dress is made of really nice satiny soft fabric with good weight and smooth texture so I was really disappointed that the actual fit of the dress was so poor on me. It’s much shorter than shown in the photo getting to just under my knees and there’s an overlap of fabric running down the front that made my waist look huge. Overall it was bulky and dowdy looking on me. I also sized down to a M hoping it would help some of the issues but didn’t. I really wish more thought and care were taken to design this dress well because the fabric is outstanding.
