A Classy Classic

I was so excited when I found these trousers on sale! About two weeks prior, I had found the matching DKNY blazer of the same style in the last call section of the store. The fabric is lovely quality and has some weight to it so it does not wrinkle easily. I would consider it a fabric for cool weather or a cool interior. There is a brown faux leather waistband that gives the illusion of wearing a belt. It matches the pintuck on the jacket. Of course, you could cover the waistband if you didn't want the brown to show. I am wearing it with a brown turtleneck and brown boots. It is a very classy suit. Either piece alone has endless possibilities, especially the pants. Because I am 5'2, I did have to have them hemmed

High rise not mid rise as advertised

Wasn't sure what size to get. So ordered two different sizes. But this pant is a high rise, not a mid rise. Otherwise the fabric was great and soft. I am short waisted so don't want pants that land right under my bra line. The brown belt at the waist is built in. I would have preferred black, with black pants. So I must return because this waist lands much too high for me, and is not flattering on my body type, short waisted with long legs. If you are long waisted, this would be one for you.

Nice Pants

Nice pants, but lots of buttons and hooks!! It’s probably because they are faux leather at the waist and they need all of those buttons and hooks to close properly. They could’ve used a better zipper because the zipper seems to slide a lot
