Great Modem

I’ve had this modem for several years now and it works great. Compatible with our internet provider, this modem has saved us hundreds on equipment rental. Occasional internet speed tests performed are always consistent with fast internet uploads and downloads. On days that I need to troubleshoot a simple power on and off does the trick. Overall I am highly satisfied with this modem.

very reliable cable modem

The CM700 is a very reliable cable modem. I did have to do one hard reset to factory defaults shortly after I put it into service. But, I believe this was due to my ISP altering its configuration. The cable modem has worked flawlessly ever since.

modem is Junk

I've had the modem a few years and and use it about 3 month a year. This year it just started to reset it self very often to the point it would do it if I ran a simply speed test. would not recommend it.
