I was very disappointed to receive this item in pieces when I opened it today. I sent a request for a representative to contact me to resolve this issue.
Very Sad
I can't tell anything about how the product works because it came to me from curbside pickup in a box and when I opened it up, all the powder was crushed and all over the place. I had to get a r fund, as well as lose my $10 earned reward credit. Poor customer service, for sure. Not a happy camper.
A PRODUCT to Remember…….
Tha golden compact itself was beautiful and designed with great care. Just stunning. The compact was housed in a gold light box, very attractive. I was extremely excited when I ordered this product, expecting great things…I did have to order it at the local MACY’s store as their cosmetics dept. did not keep this item in stock. The salesperson took care of ordering the D & G compact online, I paid for it, and was given a receipt & ETA. I received email updates. About 4 days later, I received a delivered email; rushed to my mailbox, and saw a small cardboard box. I then opened the box. Inside was a small piece of rumpled butcher paper - and then the Dolce & Garbana gold box. I immediately opened the box, lifted out the gold compact, opened the compact - and THEN…..saw broken, crumpled luminescent powder in shambles! A complete mess! A sad disappointing pile of powder! The next day, I took the box, compact, and receipt back to the same MACY’s…..A different salesperson was ‘nice’ but did not explain my options. She took a look at the broken powder, and asked what do you want to do? I replied that I guess I would like a new one, but she replied the store did not carry it in stock. I commented the lack of careful packaging - no answer, no apology. I said I guess I’ll take another chance. But then, she proceeds to start a new ‘order’ and asks for my card to ring up again - without giving me a refund first…..pay first, she said. It did not seem she was aware of my poor experience at all….So then, I spoke up and said, please just give me a refund….and then, she cancelled my new order, & THEN processed a REFUND per my request. That’s my story.

Heartbroken mine broke too
Delivery was well packaged. Had this only about a month and took great care of it leaving it only on my makeup table. I noticed a tiny crack, when I touched it with my finger, it all shattered to pieces. Don’t think I can return since I threw away box. The product is delicate. Beautiful case.
