Purchased a half size too large

I am of the opinion that shoes are one thing that is better purchased in a "brick and mortar" environment. Macy's was very patient with me. We first tried a Bass Tassel Loafer. Nice shoe, but too small in a size 8.5. Then found this gorgeous shoe in black with blue topstitching. I was reluctant to try this, as I would prefer black on black, but we tried it in size 9 considering the earlier purchase. This was too large. We then ordered the shoe in 8.5 - it was perfect.

Great shoe!

Great shoe with a suit or weekend casual. The shoe runs large. I usually wear a 10 but a 9.5 is a great fit for me. Very comfortable
