Loved it, kept it, but needed alterations

I am usually a size 8, but ordered this dress initially two sizes larger, in a 12 because it looked like it ran smaller. It was big. I really wanted it to work so I ordered again in a size10 and a 12 petite. I kept the 12P but it still needed alterations. I really like the way it turned out and feel good in the dress. I am 5’3” and 148lbs.

The material quality and print is excellent but the the dress does not fit me properly. I am 5 foot 3 and the torso of the dress is too long. It may work better in petite, which i thought is what i ordered.
