Love this dress! But the zipper broke!

I love this dress! But literally, the first time I wore it, the zipper broke! Thankfully I had just gotten out of my car at home, after an evening wearing it. Nothing crazy, just a work event. Also, the Macys I bought it at said the marks on it were deodorant. They ended up not being deodorant (who knows what the marks are) but they won’t come off. I’m hoping Macys or DK can read this and either contact me about a new zipper?? Or dress? So sad about this! I would recommend it but also not recommend it. It’s a toss up! The dress fit perfectly. Not tight and not loose. Not sure how the zipper failed.

The dress is beautiful and well-made, but the sizing runs quite small. Even after ordering two sizes up, it was still too tight, so I unfortunately had to return it.

Buy this dress before it sells out!

This review is the opposite of one I just wrote for another dress from this brand. This dress is gorgeous! The colors and pattern are true to the picture. I was worried about it zipping all the way up the front, but it is well-made and designed in a way that you don't even know the zipper is there. The fabric is heavier, almost scuba-like, which is great for a fall dress and the included belt is a nice touch. I am a consistent size 8 across most brands, including this one, but I will be sending it back for a size 10 as it's a bit too snug all around and highlights areas I would rather not draw attention to. LOL. Love this dress and can't wait to receive the larger size. One additional note: I am almost 5'9 and this was the perfect length for me for a cocktail dress. If you are shorter, it may be too long so you may want to order petite if available.
