As all the others have said, this dress was not made for a real human woman. The bottom is true to size, but the top is like 3 sizes smaller. It's very strange. Seems like Macy's got the message and is not restocking. The dress itself is absolutely beautiful.
Odd fit
I am size 2 and small chest but felt tight at the top and roomy at the waist line, couldn’t understand whether it’s tight or loose. Will be returning. Too bad, I really love the look of the material, could have been perfect for a nice event.

I really wanted to like this. The material is thick and scratchy. I wouldn’t mind the strength of the material because that can be flattering but it’s so scratchy around the neck and way too thick. I would be too hot in most environments. I wear a size 14 and I looked even larger. For smaller sizes, it could be very cute in an outdoor situation.

Love this dress. Have bought Donna Karan dresses before in a size 6. I cud not zip up this dress in the torso in a size 6, n size 8 was sold-out. I bought a size 10, it fit fine n not too loose.

Strange fit
This dress is lovely, but does not fit as shown in the photo. The top seemed to be a full size smaller than the waist and skirt. I am smaller on top and larger on bottom myself, so this fit was particularly perplexing. The crew neck felt snug and the dress was tight across the back and shoulders and not roomy in the bust (I am a 34 A). Meanwhile the waist was way too big. I think the dress in the model's photo must have had the waist cinched in back to allow her to wear a large enough size to make the top look like a good fit. I don't like to pay for return shipping when fooled like this.
Proportions are off
i loved the color and look of this dress, but the proportions are completely off - i bout 2 sizes, one wouldn't zip up and the other did zip up but felt VERY tight in the bust area and very loose in the waste area - I was really looking forward to wearing this for my annual Christmas pictures, but couldn't get it to work. Not sure what body type this will work on.
Flattering and Comfortable
I love this dress and it is so fatering. Makes your waist look small. It’s a heavier dress so perfect for the outdoor winter wedding I attended. Received lots of compliments.
