Bought this as a gift for my son
He loves it. Great addition to his bedroom ensemble.
Amazing
I bought this and the queen size. Debated for a while on which to keep. I liked how this has 3 stitched rows of detail over the queen which just has two. This is all around silk, while the queen's one side is a whatever basic material. I kept the queen soley for the size. But I looooved this throw. Sad to return it.
Ultra luxury
For a humble throw, it's pretty stunning. Metallic gold silk makes for a lovely accent piece on your on-trend champagne-colored bedroom. It's generally impractical and you could buy two or three cotton coverlets for the price, but there are some benefits worth considering. It warms up immediately: as soon as you wrap it around your body, you're instantly cozy. It's a little magical in that regard. It's stylish, in trendy colors, and well-made with baffle construction. The filling is polyester down alternative. I dropped one star for it being dry clean only, which makes it unnecessarily fussy for real-world use; even hand-washable silk would be an improvement. But if dry cleaning (and its price) isn't an issue for you, I think you'll be delighted.
SOFT & LIGHT WEIGHT
This throw is perfect for anyone liking like-weight throws yet extremely warm. It is silk so can snag easier than most throws. It's luscious against your skin. I love it!

Silky Soft
I received the gold throw and the color is beautiful. Pros: The blanket is really soft and silky. It is well made. Cons: I tried to put it on the sofa arm and it kept slipping off. It doesn't fold neatly because it is billowy. I thought I could put it on the edge of the bed but it just doesn't fold nice.
Nice and luxurious but could be better
The silk outer layer is very soft and silky like how silk is supposed to be. Feels very luxurious and cool to the touch. The inner lining however could be better. For some reason, the inner padding is not evenly distributed so you sometime see clumps in your silky throw making it look not so luxurious. Silks are easily wrinkle and not having a uniform inner lining makes it hard to iron out.
ULTIMATE LUXURY
The Donna Karan silk throw is the ultimate in luxury. I have it in the gold color which is lovely, not too shiny nor brassy looking. The silk fabric is simply amazing. I own pure silk blouses and scarves but I have never felt silk as soft & luxurious as this. I am using this throw in my guest bedroom, across the bottom of the bed. But, to be honest almost every evening I've removed it, so I can wrap myself up in it while watching TV. LOL The downside of my review pertains to the filling. The baffled boxes are unevenly filled, some with barely any filling at all & the others are just skimpy. When you hold up the throw all of the filling just pools to the bottom of each box section. I find this to be extremely disappointing in regards to the quality I've come to expect from the Donna Karan brand. I do recommend purchasing this throw in lieu of this, because of the beauty and quality of the fabric itself.
Luxurious and lightweight
Lovely throw, a bit larger than I expected at 50" x 70". Fine silk fabric with polyester (wish it was silk as well) fill. The throw is weightless and cozy, but not overly warm. I like that it has beautiful stitching to keep the fill in place. The silver color is classy and darker than I expected, I'd call it a vintage silver color. Looks great on a bedroom chair or small sofa.
