Love this bag!
My new go to bag. Bought the burgundy - very pretty! Holds a lot, have to be careful not to overload and cause it to be too heavy. My new everyday bag!
Sturdy attractive bag
I find the bag to be a classic look, maybe not an everyday bag. The leather is beautifully smooth and stiff, holds it shape well. My main complaint is Macy’s shipping designer bags that always look like returns. This is the last time I will ever order a bag online from them. You can normally ensure much better quality control when purchasing from the manufacturer. Sorry Macy’s, you disappointed me one too many times.
A beautiful bag but...
This is a beautiful bag and I was so excited to order it. It would have been perfect except it was scuffed and scraped across the front. There were sale tags torn off and half of one tag ripped off, so it did not appear to have been kept in good condition. It is a gorgeous bag...so sad.
Not so much
Very disappointed with the bag! It is very stiff like a bucket and the leather seems to be bonded to other material and appears wrinkled toward the bags opening. I would not recommend or purchase again.
Dooney bag
I like dooney but this one is weird...like someone wrote before the straps do make a squeaky noise.The leather doesn’t look like leather at all...very hard with an almost plastic quality. I am trying to like it but...... It’s not Macys fault though
Great product for a great price
I would recommend this product, it is the right size that I usually carry. Just beautiful with pockets and enough room to carry everything!!!
Great tote
I am giving this bag a 2nd try. I initially ordered a taupe color which had factory packaging and when it arrived it had a cut in the leather. This 2nd try now months later at a better price is in the Bordeaux color with a nice striped lining. This is a very nice sized tote, not too big or too small. The shoulder straps passes the elbow test. It reminds me of the Dooney small Leisure bag, but with an outside pocket. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because the bag I received was not factory packaged and had some scuffs...I almost never get scuffs on my bags, so it's disappointing when a new bag comes with scuffs. Looks like it could be a display bag. The scuffs are not very noticable, but they don't seem to buff out as with the Florentine. I feel that you gain a waterproof leather that beads off if it gets wet and will not leave water marks, but scuffs may be difficult to get out. The leather is stiff, but that's what I want in a tote. Not typical vachetta leather.
Disappointing
I ordered this bag in the green. Lovely color but the front had puckering issues with the leather. VERY stiff leather and poorly tanned. I returned the bag.
