Color Description Deceiving

I'm a HUGE Dooney & Bourke fan. I was excited to find a bubble gum pink patent purse to go with some pumps I have of the same color. I purchased the purse hoping it would be close to my shoe color. Upon arrival, I found it nothing close to bubble gum pink, but rather, more of a salmon color and a horrid contrast. I am giving the purse style the stars, the color would get zero.

Right size

Need a purse for teenage daughter attending semi formal occasion. Wasn’t awkwardly large. The patent finish added to the dressy look. Most importantly, my teenager loved it.
