Stiff and Noisy- not soft

I just received and upon opening had a strong chemical smell, I threw in wash according to washing instructions. When I took them out of the dryer, chemical smell was gone but the sheets feel and sound like a plastic mattress protector, they were not soft but really stiff and even sounded like plastic when I was folding them. I’m hoping they soften up with each wash and I’ll update if they do. Additionally, I took them right out of the dryer and they were very wrinkled. On the plus side, the elastic on the fitted sheet is impressive. Better than any other sheets I’ve had before- including my 1000 TC Egyptian cotton sheets. I really do hope, however, they are comfortable for my guests. As of right now, I’m concerned they won’t be.

Falling in love

At first I thought it was going to be fluffy, but when I saw it , it was flat a flat Sheet. It was heavy, I thought " how is this going to keep me warm and cozy at night" I was kind of disappointed 😞 so I decided it to give it a try since I stay in hotels when I traveled and I thought it can be like the thin sheets in the hotel. Well to my surprise when I use it at night that I get cold it actually keeps me cozy and warm. I can count on it. So I'm loving it. Is not every where is actually on top of my body and it stays firm.
