Fast paced with lots of action!
This book was a gift from a friend to my daughter, because she loves dragons, and boy it did not disappoint. It did a good job at keeping her interested that she devoured it in 2 days. She said it was action-packed with interesting characters and funny. She can't wait for the next book (which I already pre-ordered).

Fun and fast paced
This book is full of action, moves fast with often hilarious dialogue. I like the dragons as much as the human characters. Can't wait for the next book!

Perfect for Percy Jackson fans
My kids devoured this book and will be looking for book 2. He's a reluctant reader who has trouble finding books to stick with. He loves Rick Riordan's series and this book fit that bill!

Action-Packed!
Four kids bonding with dragons and each other make this a book anyone can enjoy. And it ends with a cliffhanger that made me want to keep reading about Billy Chan and his pals battling the Dragon of Death. I really enjoyed this one.

A dragon of an adventure!
If you love folklore and fantasy, this book will be perfect for the child, student or parent/teacher reading groups! And the fact that is is only book one of a series, just means there is tons more adventure and fantasy folklore to come!

My son was captivated!
Flying Dragons! Rock Trolls! Action-packed! This book, the first in a series (thank goodness), reminded my son of Percy Jackson & the Olympians The Lightning Thief, which is the book that turned him into a reader. My son loved the fact that each of the dragons had different personalities and they often cracked him up. There’s also a bit of Chinese mythology woven throughout. The ending left him eager to read the next installment, which says it all!

Epic Adventure and Talking Dragons!
If you loved Eragon, Wings of Fire, or Dragon Pearl, you're going to love this book! Billy and his friends go to China for a language camp and end up bonding with their very own talking dragons instead. It's a really fun, fast paced read that you won't want to put down.
