Just a heads up - even if you pay extra for expedited shipping, there is great mystery and confusion what 'Expedited' means to Macy's - I ordered this on Dec 19th - and paid extra to have it shipped and in home by 12/24 - and as of today, 12/28, it has still not been shipped ... Also, I have filed a report with Macy's, have emailed customer service and still have not gotten any feedback. So, if this is a gift - I'd suggest pre-ordering way in advance to circumvent the inadequacies in the Macy's shipping department. It might also be suggested to shop around as I am certain there are other better retailers in terms of fulfillment communication, customer service feedback and communication and in general, management of inventory.
Great weighted duvet!
Fifteen pounds sounded both too heave and not heavy enough, but it turned out to be just right! I have slept better since buying this blanket than I have for many years. Great sale price, too!

Leaking beads within 2 months
This blanket began leaking the tiny weighted beads all over our bed within a month or two. Contacted customer support via chat and got told that after 30 days from delivery they cannot help.
Learning curve
I tried a weighted cooling blanket to use when lying on the couch or floor. Decided I should check out one for my bed. I ordered this, and I sized up to a King. The first time I went to bed using it, I was way too hot. Next time I skipped the t-shirt and it was great. It does take time to get used to. Imagine sleeping in a bed that has 4 blankets on it and that’s probably the level of restriction you might feel. And the room needs to be cool as well. Not sure how I’m going to wash it. It does not have a removable cover. I can see the washer going out of balance very easily. It does claim to be machine washable. It doesn’t have a removable cover.
So Far...He Loves It!
Lately my husband hasn't been able to get enough blankets on his side of the bed. A weighted blanket seemed to be the answer. When this one was on sale, it was time to give it a try. When it was delivered, i immediately thought i had made a mistake. The small box was SO heavy! 15 pounds is quite a bit of weight, compared to other blankets we own. Last night was the first night he slept with it and he said he slept well! I went from having 4 blankets and a folded quilt on his side of the bed, down to just the weighted blanket and one other blanket. I'll try to remember to post an update after it is washed.

Not a Queen Size
The blanket measure is exactly 80 by 59. It’s a double/full size. Keeping it though, as found in a sales deal.
