Terrible product at a ridiculously high price.
I bought this machine in May 2025 and the first one sent to me I was told after a lengthy phone call it had a factory defect and that o could exhange it. So that’s what I did. Second machine came and it wouldn’t do anything other that display said “remove from dock to power off” very disappointed in this Dyson machine. For the price of it you’d think it would be better quality. I only gave it 1 star because 0 stars wasn’t and option.

Horrible navigation
I bought this three weeks ago and have been running it daily. It has yet to successfully complete a job after running more than twenty times. Each job returns with a lifted error or drop sensor error. I regret buying it.

Painful mapping set up but downstream dream
Before I have Roomba, which I found to have several issues with connections, batteries and generally painful as it seemed to have too much intelligence for what it could do. I bought Dyson robot a month ago, the initial set up was painful as it required mapping the floor and then making zones. The mapping software is not perfect so was dissapointed with the palaver over requiring mapping before doing a clean. Despite this initial pain, the machine is working like I wanted, it has no problems finding and charging unlike my Roomba. I still need to map my master bedroom as it has carpet and will be the real test on the power of the vacuum. But on the whole I am happy with my purchase.

Great product; a suggestion for still greater
This is a quality machine, and I based that on compare it with other robot vacuums I've used over many years. I recommend it. If there were any suggestions for Dyson, it would be to show purchasers a clear path to two modes: 1.) simple, and 2.) map-based. Mapping doesn't work well in my home because the floor plan is unconventional. It took forever and multiple tries to get my home mapped, and it still isn't right. I'd like clear instructions, and a simple way to set it in a room, push start and then leave the room, closing the door behind me. I have yet to figure out how to cordon off the to-be-vacuumed areas when the mapping isn't perfect. Other than that, buy it, use it and you'll see a noticeable improvement in the cleanliness of the surfaces covered.

The hardware is AMAZING, cleans better than any other vacuum I've tried. The software on the other hand...doesn't follow any boundaries I've set, never finds its way back to the dock... I ended up returning it and buying a competitor Fix the software and I'd give it another try

Bought this vacuum as Dyson products has never disappointed me but this machine is Big No to me, vacuum gets lost and then you have to find it as compare to other brands they have maps where the machine is working currently. Bought first machine it was getting lost thought it’s faulty ask for replacement and took more then 20 days for sending back and receiving new one and the second one is same doesn’t even go back itself if battery is low so want to return it as I received on May 27 and called them on June 1 they told me you are out 30 days period So wasn’t happy with a purchase -(

The suction is fine, and mapping is reasonable (although sometimes it takes 5 minutes to figure out where to go). The main problem is that every 10 minutes or so it stops, with the message ‘wheel stuck’, even though the wheel is not stuck and there are no obstacles. I press ‘resume’ and it starts again fine, but it’s annoying to have to keep an eye on it and keep pressing ‘resume’. I can’t just turn it on and expect it to vacuum without assistance. I’ve tried contacting the Support line - they told me to turn it off and on again. It hasn’t helped, and now they are not replying to my messages.

Buy something else
Navigation is terrible. Always saying sensors need cleaned. Suction is good but always says airway is blocked. Cannot handle fine dust. I would not buy again.
