I love the new Dyson wash G1 it’s the best steamer I’ve bought you don’t realise the dirt that comes of your floor but you see the dirt in the dirty water that comes off the floor I’m amazed at how dirty my floors were

Great idea, overall performance is good

We've had this machine for 3 weeks now and it cleans flat floors very well. A full charge lasts about 30 minutes using the lowest hydration mode. It does not clean the grout on a tiled floor - the microfibre rollers don't get into the grooves. The instructions to use the machine aren't that well written. The first problem that I had was how to get the machine off the charging dock - you have to hold the back of dock and then pull the machine upwards. The instructions refer to a Max line on the side of the clean water tank but there isn't one. I emptied the debris tray before running the self-clean cycle. The amount of dirt mixed up with soapy fluid was quite off-putting - I used a couple of paper towels to remove the mess before washing the tray under a tap. I emptied the dirty water tank and topped up the clean water tank to run the self-cleaning cycle which brings up a fair amount of dirty water. Following this, I went through a full maintenance program cleaning, the debris tray, water tanks and the rollers and brushes. This took about 10 minutes! I was very impressed with the thoughtful design so it's easy to re-assemble although getting debris out from the cleaner head was a bit tricky.

So easy to use

Cleaning the floors has never been easier. The wash G1 literally glides over the floor. It’s so easy to use. Cleaning out the tray can be a bit pernickity but the pros definitely out way the cons.

Terrific cleaner!!

I researched cleaning appliances for specific use with LVP flooring. I have used this once across, and am very happy with the results. In full disclosure, I used a cleaning solution other than the Dyson brand, and I noticed more foaming that was not get pulled into the dirty water reservoir. This required going over the area with my manual floor cleaner, but I did not mind as it involved significantly less elbow grease. My LVP floors are a light grey (nearly white) with grey marbling. It was a poor choice in a house with two teen boys and two dogs, but anything else would have made the space too dark. The Wash picked up the grime so well. The difference is immediate as you go over sections. You will have to adjust your pace so the rollers have enough time to adequately clean sections. Until you are practiced removing the trays/rollers for cleaning, I would do this in the garage or another place where you won't mind leaks.
