Those aren't the correct sneakers.

I bought the red paisley sneakers and I love them. The size 8 is a tad too big for me but I fear the 7-1/2 would be too small.

Too Restrictive

There is a decorative triangular shaped stitching at the top of the shoe that causes it to be inflexible. It is as if you have a board pushing into your foot with every step. Also, the opening of the shoe where the laces end is very stiff and cuts into the foot even when the last set of holes is unlaced.

Hurt my old shin splints

Maybe I should have ordered 6W, but 6.5W (what I always wear) aggravates my old shin splints for the first time in well over 20 years. They look nice, but they hurt. I don't think that I can return them, as I've worn them - I'll stick to my Skechers in the future. Too bad!
