This is very wide in the ankle. Not for slim feet or low instep.

Item along with several others never received. Informed by Macys customer service they will refund my account. Waste of my time. Macys has been sending me item I never ordered resulting in me driving one hour each way to return instore. I’ve received empty boxes for various purchases. No quality control. Unpon request for some type of consolation for all these inconveniences was offered $10 in star money. Keep it! A loyal customer for years to include refurnishing my entire home. Time to switch. Easy Spirit boots
Have shy'd away from Easy spirit for awhile (past issues with quality) These boots seem well made. My foot runs narrow so this medium is on the wider side. Comfortable, but will see how they hold up.
