The perfect work/dressy black leather ankle boot!

This season, choices in boots were very limited in stores for some reason. The variety was nothing like it has been previously. I went online to look for basic black leather ankle boots for work and luckily found the perfect pair. The brand is foot friendly so they’re comfortable yet stylish and won’t go out of style. Exactly what I was looking for. Shipping was slightly delayed due to the holidays and weather but Macy’s kept sending ETA updates. Plus Macys had these on sale over other sites. I wear a popular size (9-9.5) so was happy they weren’t sold out as is often the case. Recommend!

Exactly what I’ve been looking for

They are comfortable for all day wear, and can be dressed up or casual. They have enough of a heel to look good but low enough to feel stable, basically perfect.

Shaft is too wide

Super soft and great height. Unfortunately the shaft width was not made for the majority of the population. I can fit another half an ankle in the shaft. Also recommend to size half a size down.

Ordered next size

Needed to order half size up die to pointy toe and wanted to wear socks. Hope the half size up works because the look great. Love the chocolate color.

Perfect fall suede boot

A miss

Looked cute until I got them on. They were just not attractive at all. Voluminous upper, which was scratched up quite a bit, and hit me in a spot on my shin that hurt. Going back ☹️
