Beautiful duvet set!
This set has a very nice sheet-like feel to it Quality is top-notch. Soft, crisp, and comfortable. Love it!
I love it!!
I have been wanting this duvet set for two years! My husband was very against it when I showed it to him two years ago because it 'looked too feminine' for him. We bought new bedroom furniture so we decided a new bedding set was in order too. I kept going back to this set - especially since our new furniture is a medium-dark colored wood and we have a black leather headboard, I thought the light colors of this set would look really good. My husband finally agreed so I immediately ordered the mini duvet set, sheet set, and 2 blue euro shams (back upright pillows in picture). I agree with other reviews that it is more sky-blue rather than a cool aqua green that some of the pictures may indicate - but I anticipated that based on the reviews and I LOVE IT! I immediately washed it so I could put it on our bed and it is so beautiful! It washed wonderfully - I followed the directions on the inner tag: cold wash, cold dry - although the directions on the packaging says to wash warm, the inner tag says cold and cold so I followed that. I did not wash the euro shams because I am unsure if I am going to keep them. They're beautiful but I'm not sure if we really need them. I do, however, plan to order the yellow accent pillow. I read a review that the sheets are not white but more of a yellow-ivory - and I strongly disagree with this. The sheets are a beautiful soft white, not a bright hospital white (thankfully!) and they are so soft and comfortable!! My only complaint is that the bed skirt cannot be purchased unless you get the comforter set - I really want the bed skirt but I did not want to get the comforter set because I like the ability to take the duvet off the comforter insert and wash separately. Overall, I am VERY pleased with this purchase and both my husband and I love it!
Colors are very pale
From the picture I really thought this would be bright but the colors are muted decided to return it
Style & Color Great - construction poor
Purchased the complete set for a vacation home. Love the design, style and colors which are soft and pleasingly relaxing. However, the construction is poor and flimsy. I decided to keep it only because it worked great for a vacation home (which is not used often) so hopefully it will hold up for a while. Hard to make the bed, even though this is a comforter, it won't lay out straight or flat, have to keep smoothing it out so it appears the bed has been made.
Disappointed
When I first received this set I loved it, but after I washed the comforter it got so wrinkled, and the filling is not attached to the comforter material, so it separates.Makes it hard to fold it over when making the bed. Loved the color but now so disappointed and I felt like it was just poorly made and wish I could return it. Wasn't worth the money.
Color issue...
I can understand why other people were upset about the color problem. The picture makes the comforter appear as a teal with more green than blue-- however, the comforter is actually a minty blue color. It's actual more beautiful than the picture. I bought this for my spare bedroom but I almost went back and ordered it for my master bedroom instead.
A Tranquil Comforter!!
I love this comforter it's more of a pale blue than aqua but its perfect! It is stiff at first, by the third day it softens pretty well. I added two bright colored pillows and it couldn't get any more amazing. I'm so in love, I will be purchasing another one!
Not as Advertised
The comforter is more blue than aqua. The bedskirt is light green and doesn't match the comforter well. Also, the description does not reflect that the design on the comforter is different on the opposite side. I'm disappointed with the purchase. On the positive side, the comforter is soft and light.
