poorly executed top

i really wanted to like this, but the proportions of this top are off. i'm usually a s in tops so bought the s and it fit perfectly in the body/torso, but the shoulder straps were SUPER long. straps would have kept fallen off my shoulder if i tried to actually wear it out and i would've had to pull it up every two seconds. i tried pulling the top more down so that the shoulder strap length would sit right, but then it brought the top down to a ridiculously low-cut top where you couldn't possibly wear any type of bra and it would be a nip slip waiting to happen. really loved how the top looked in the photos and was expecting that, but this top was poorly executed.
