Perfect! a true low-rise.

These were very pricey at first. I kept an eye on them and when they went on even a small sale bought two pairs. I have struggled to find low rise jeans or trousers. The rise a woman should wear is actually based more on her proportions than on what is fashionable. High rise jeans/pants flatter a longer torso, mid-rise work for women with normal proportions and low rise flatter a short torso. Since I have a short torso, the waist of high rise pants hits right under my bust which is a terrible look and uncomfortable. Mid-rise are much better but still high above my belly button. Low-rise jeans and trousers sit just below my waist (like mid-rise are supposed to fit). I wish Macy's had more low rise options. I often have to shop in Junior and rarely have more than a few options. These edikted jeans fit perfectly and I love them. If they were available in more colors, or in trouser options, I'm sure I would buy them as well.
