Learning & Fun all in one
Read My List is a fast paced, educational game, for ages eight and older. Adults will enjoy playing this game on family game night. There are different levels, blue easy, red harder. There are different types of cards as well: Name the Category, Lightning Round, and List cards. This game will get your kids laughing and having fun all while learning. Something I love to see. The cards are durable and the game is compact so it is easy to bring as a travel game as well. Please note that this game was provided to me in exchange for my honest opinion.

Great game for word recall and categorization
Great game for word recall and categorization, my 3rd thru 5th grade students loved it. It was easy for the low level reading students to play.

First game that gets everyone involved!
Fun game that keeps you on your toes! We played it with our kids ages 9-12 & they liked it a lot, especially the fast pace. Quality sturdy cards & compact for traveling, but only 200, so curious whether we'll get used to the cards pretty quickly (we went through about 15 per game). Highly recommended!!!

Family Game Night has turned into Learning Game Night!
Read My List is an exciting thinking game for all age groups. It challenges my kids both 5 yrs and 9 yrs to add or recall from the list or category it also challenges the kids to think quickly in the lightning round and in my opinion this helps in real life. I love the fact that the kids are learning while having fun and they don't even realize it.

make it your own
We got "READ MY LIST" as a present and I was a little skeptical at first that this game may be too advanced for my 8 year old. We did not even read the instruction all the way and just started playing our "own game" . My kids loved it (8 & 10) and as a mother I love that they get to write and read beyond what they are suppose for school ; ). The packaging is compact and reduced to the minimum required to play and store the cards. The design of the box and cards is fun and fresh and happy. The font easy and clear to read for kids. Maybe a little to playfull for the adult player, but they will realize soon that they can get challenged by the content of the game as well. The reason why I only gave it 4 instead of the well deserved 5 stars is, that it would be great if a mini time keeper (hour glass?) would be included in the box. I would definitely recommend "READ MY LIST" to a friend.

Fun and challenging brain game!
My 10 year old daughter had a lot of fun playing this game. I am amazed at how quickly her brain works. I'm not that old but my brain is so sad compared to hers. Ha ha! I struggled a bit playing this game but it wasn't the game's fault. :) This game will definitely help me sharpen my memory and my listening skills. There are 3 different types of cards (Name the Category, Lightning Round, and List). Each card has 2 different levels (blue is easy and red is more challenging). The Name the Category round was my favorite. The reader lists the 10 items and the other players have to guess the category. The winner gets 1 point. My husband and daughter were amazing with the List category. They have great listening skills and memories. I have neither. Ha! The reader reads the category and 10 items out loud. The other players have to list 3 additional items that were not already read out loud. Sounds easy but it's more challenging than you think. The winner gets 1 point. The Lightning Round is very fast paced and everyone gets to play, including the reader. The reader reads the category out loud and then everyone says an item in that category and it keeps going around the circle until someone is stuck. There is a time limit set for each player's answer and it goes fast. So you have to think quick, have good listening skills and a good memory to make sure you don't say something that's already been said. All players, except for the one who got stuck, gets 1 point. The first person with 5 points wins the game. This would be a great game to take with you on the go, like in the car or at a restaurant while you are waiting for your food. The cards are very durable and visually appealing. I wish the instructions were a little clearer on how to set up the game. I was a little confused on whether or not the cards should be shuffled or if the cards should stay separated in their categories. We ended up shuffling them, placing them back in the box and then choosing a card randomly. It's a fun game either way. :)
