Not quite chalk
I ordered this in chalk, such a beautiful color and a rare one in EF for cool tones, but this fabric is just not the same color as the wools; it's too yellow. It doesn't match and isn't different enough to contrast.

Useful too
Like this but will prob taper. Now that I have slimmed down many of the Eileen fisher tops are too wide on bottom even though I order a small or xs . Have the skirt to match this top so am thrilled to have an outfit

excellent basic
I wear L, PL, and M, depending on the shape of the garment. In this case I ordered PL based on reviews of the armhole size. It fits just as i would like it to — loosely hugs my shoulders and bust while flowing into a relaxed drape through waist and hips. It works well on its own and layered beneath some sort of topper.

I Just Might Need Another...
I purchased the Chalk Ribbed Organic Cotton Long Top to coordinate with the matching pants. I find the heavy, ribbed cotton to be flattering with a variety of EF cardigans. The long length works on my 5'9", long waisted torso. When I first opened the package I was hesitant but the unique, neutral color quickly proved useful and flattering to my skin tone. (EF Bone does NOT work for me.) I find myself reaching for this tunic frequently while appreciating it's drape, easy care and forgiving style. I purchased this specifically for use with the matching pants but find I enjoy it equally with several EF slim skirts, system pants and full pant options. Generally I layer this under an EF cardigan and/or with a large scarf. For reference I am 5'9", 36B, 30-31 jean size. The Medium works for me. I probably could have taken the Small as well for a slimmer silhouette. The value per wearing is excellent at the sale price... I just might need the black too.

Great weight, drape, cut and quality
I love wearing system silk georgette shells under shorter kimono cardigans as a look. But silk in summer? Not so much. I bought the more-green-than-blue tunic shell first and found the weight of the cotton rib knit too heavy for high summer but perfect transitioning to fall and will carry on wearing it under EF cardigans throughout the winter. The fabric has memory and bounces back after hand washing perfectly. I got my usual L but wonder if an M in the black might've fit even better...Its length is a statement on a 5'6" gal, but I like layered dressing for style and practical reasons. It's a quality basic I'll have for many years. (Friends have bought their own after seeing it on me so it must be flattering.)

Pros and Cons
There are many things about this tunic I love: drapes well, washes well and very comfortable. The color is more green than blue which is OK. The arm holes in this tunic are TOO large and your bra is definitely visible. Honestly if I would have known this I would have sized down to a PS.

Nice top
Nice flattering fit. Maybe a little too long, but I can live with it. Purchased the matching pants.
