I normally wear a size 12, but took a chance on the 10 since it was the largest size available when I ordered. I’m so glad I did! They fit perfectly. While there is no spandex, they do give just a bit, which is fine. I’m so delighted to find something in 100% cotton!

The best of Eileen Fisher’s classic lines! The first Eileen Fisher I have ordered in a while because this is the first I have seen in a while that reminds me of the original Eileen Fisher designs that made her name what it is today: chic, understated & well tailored. Great design but fabric piles and gives
I purchased these prior to a trip abroad where I wore them twice. After just one day they stretched well beyond the original attractive cut. The organic cotton loses its form and the pants lose any shape. Furthermore, after the second wearing, the fabric in the inner thighs piled and now is textured differently from the rest of the pant. Disappointing.

Great new look! Runs true to size. Classic look! Eileen Fisher makes beautiful designers clothing, and Macy’s carries a full line of her things. I am very happy with my purchase. I wish they came in white. Also wish the tunic top came in white.

Sizing is tricky. Generally I am size 12, but EF runs generous and I should have bought the 10.

Very light weight
I tried these in my usual EF size and one size up. The fit was not very different. I was looking for a woven twill or canvas fabric wide ankle pants as an alternative to stretch knit. Pros: pockets! Sustainable! Closer to a true ankle pant on me, so much better than the deceptively labeled EF ankle pants this season that are really crops and too short by an inch to be flattering. Cons: very lightweight fabric, almost a cotton lawn that relaxes quickly on the body and becomes dumpy looking, wrinkles like mad. Sadly, returning.
