My New Favorite

I always love Eileen West nightgowns for their exceptional fabrics, and comfortable and attractive designs. This season I wanted a new one that was lighter and softer than regular flannels, but with long sleeves, long length (even though I'm short) and a neckline that doesn't rub at the back and sides of my neck, as those with collars sometimes do. This one has it all, though I would even like it to be long enough to reach my ankles. The fabric is very soft after several washings, and the peached cotton jersey is a comfortable warmth and weight. The sleeves can be rolled up and do not have elastic or cuffs to deal with. The neckline is high enough to give warmth in cold Minnesota weather without being cut too low (and drafty), which is the case with many nightgowns. I like this gown well enough to be thinking of buying a second one. I do wish Eileen West offered the same gown, with the same features in another color or print. But for more warmth, I would like it to have a few more inches in length. I hope Eileen West will keep offering this peached cotton jersey fabric with the higher round neckline, but with a longer length.
