I washed it in cold water (before wearing) and it shrank A LOT!! I will be returning it

Shrunk at least one size

I love Eileen West nightgowns, so I was surprised that it shrunk A LOT after my first wash under my arms and in length. I did expect some shrinkage as I soaked it in hot water with Oxi Clean as prescribed because I spilled coffee all over the front of it. I have many Eileen West nightgowns which I have soaked with Oxi Clean in hot water to remove makeup and under arm stains and have never experienced this much shrinkage. I wish I had made closer attention to the first review of this product and bought a size up. Very disappointed since these nightgowns are NOT cheap. Also came out of the washer very stiff. Drying it in very low heat helped to soften it. I gave it a one because the style is very cute.

Thought it was my new favorite

Thought this would be my new favorite until I washed it. Cold water tumble dry low. It shrunk from a large to a small or even extra small. So disappointed:{
