It’s okay

I’ve been buying Eileen West nightgowns for years. I love the soft, thin cotton. They feel luxurious, so I never buy anything else, and I love it when they go on sale. So…. This nightgown has the same soft feel, and I got the sale price even though I’m not wild about the pattern, but I knew that from the start. The thing I really don’t like about this nightgown is the elastic around the wrists. I hate it, actually. I must sleep like I’m in a fist fight or wrestling match, because I wake up with the sleeves hiked up and the elastic digging into my arms. I may have the wrists altered just so that I can wear it without losing my mind at night with the elastic. I don’t have giant wrists or arms, but somehow, the sleeves ride up and really dig in.

Usual fine quality cotton

This is the second nightgown I have bought in this fabric-a nice counterbalance to all the blue ones I own. The ribbon in the trim moves around when you wash it-have to pull it a bit to straighten it out. I may have to sew it to secure it, but am happy to do so since I got this at Macys for a better sale price than Eileen West ever offers on their website. I love wearing it and I especially love being able to support the store that brings me the wonderful Thanksgiving parade each year.

It is what it says it is...but, it is a stiff cotton that is so thin and does not look to be very soft at all. I will be returning this item.

Beautiful Nightgown

This is a beautiful nightgown and I love that it is 100% cotton. It is a pretty, feminine print. My only criticism is that the sleeves hit way above my wrists and it is annoying/uncomfortable. I will need to return and find something else.
