Not what it should be.
Props are very generic and plain. There were no signs of any kind to truly make it fun or funny for the kids. So disappointed.

Missing pieces.
Bought this, and was excited to open and set up. But the background pieces were not included and I’m incredibly disappointed.

So funny
This The Elf on the shelf advent calendar is so interesting for kids! I have three kids 8, 5 and 2 years old and every one was so happy to see what’s inside and very interesting playing time. It has for every day little card with a story and some little toys- what Els is making this day. Some examples- making cookies, ski, playing football and other. Very nice gift for kids

Good, but could be better.
I was really hoping that the “idea” cards would have instructions of some sort.. like signs or notes the elves could leave as their reasons or explanations as to why they’re sitting next to a toaster with toast, or cute little quotes. Instead, you just get a box of props and “idea cards” that are simply elves sitting next to the props included. So I’m doing more research than I wanted to, to come up with ideas on how to implement these props. And unfortunately, the elf ideas on this website don’t include many ideas for these specific props. For example, I searched “tic tac toe”, and the elf idea that came up didn’t even include the prop from this kit.

This is such a cute addition to the Elf on the shelf. So many options to use to make it a magical experience for my son. I can’t wait to see his face when the elf returns!

Seriously cute, easy & will be so much fun!
SO CUTE & helpful! Love this kit for our elf. After doing the elf for many years, I’ve run out of creative & fun ideas for his holiday mischief. I love that this set has 24 ideas individually packaged. The different days are all so cute and will definitely make it SO easy for me this year, and my kids will love it. Everything seems really well made. I’m excited to use it this holiday season!

How fun is this Elf ideas kit! 100 pieces for 24 days of ideas, easy to set up for having fun with your kids during Christmas time, I’m saving it for Christmas but I loved it! I recommend it!
