never received my product

I've never received my product. I asked for a refund and have not yet seen my refund. In the interim, I received another Macy's customer's package, not my product and I've returned it back to Macy's to ensure that customer got their product. But as of today I still have not received a credit for the product I did not receive. which I'm not sure why I have to wait to see my credit for the product I purchased and never received, until the package I did receive with someone else's product is processed.
