So far so good

Once unboxed I tested the burner to see how fast it heated up. At 4-5 it took 4 minutes to heat up nice and hot. Once turned up to MAX, it boiled the water in a very short time! So far so good.

Well worth it

I had a different brand that took forever to start boiling and this hot plate started boiling in about 45 seconds on maximum, so it is fantastic that it doesn't run for 5 minutes before getting sufficient heat. And could not believe I paid over half what the other one cost. I love this unit.

Great item!

I purchased this for my kitchenette in my Independent Living home. I only had a toaster oven and microwave and have missed cooking for myself. This burner is the perfect size and heats up quick. I look forward to using it!
